Apostle Tim Hawthorne and his wife, Apostle Reneé Hawthorne, serve as the Apostles of Flame of Fire Ministries Covenant Church (FOFMCC).  FOFMCC is a house of refuge where the foundation of marriage, family, and unity is restored, and a place of safety for the broken-hearted and those who are heavy-laden. Their passion for helping the men and women in the body of Christ shows up daily in their walk with Christ.Apostle Tim is passionate about helping to equip men to walk in their purpose. 2 Corinthians 5:17 proclaims:

 'Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new.'

Apostle Reneé's heart beats after God's heart as a true Shepherd of God's flock. Her prayer for today's woman is found in Ephesians 1:17-23 and Colossians 1:9-14, as well as for all God's people in Romans 12:1-2. Her heart for discipleship, compassion for the hurt, and determination for truth are the foundation of her ministry.

The Hawthornes have been together in marriage, ministry, and partnership for 28 years and there is no turning back.Apostle Tim and Apostle Reneé began working side by side under Pastor, now Apostle Norman, and Pastor Pamela Dock at Harac Parech Ministries for the World  in Cincinnati, Ohio. Under their care, Apostle Tim became an ordained Minister, and Apostle Reneé became an ordained Elder.  Before answering the call to birth FOFMCC, Apostle Tim and Apostle Reneé served at Overflow Ministries Covenant Church (OMCC) in Cincinnati, Ohio, under the leadership and watchful eye of Apostle Bennie, Pastor Delores Fluellen, and Pastor Michael Rucker.  While serving at Overflow, Apostle Tim became an Ordained Elder, and Apostle Reneé furthered her ministry as an Elder.  Serving together and separately in various ministries and programs, they remained committed to advancing the Kingdom.

The equipping they received along their journey from Virginia to Ohio, until the Lord told them it was time to go forth with FOFMCC, was necessary. Because they were equipped, they can equip more people to work in the Kingdom near and far. Apostle Tim's steps have been ordered to minister the Word of God within the United States and internationally, reaching as far as Lagos, Nigeria, Johannesburg, South Africa, and Kenya.

Additionally, through T&R Ministries, they offer couples pre-marital and marital counseling, as well as workshops and seminars. The Hawthornes are a family full of love with eight children, thirteen grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Together, they proclaim the Good News as they operate in the Spirit of Excellence.
